As hard as i try, the Force is strong, and they keep trying to pull over the innocent to the dark side. So, mike's parents rent a cottage somewhere on cape cod every year, and offer room for us for a couple days, this year, I went with the kids. What a blast! The humidity was insane, so nothing dried, we went to the beach in soggy suits with damp towels, the sun did not come out until the moment i left, LOL but that was fine, apparently Grant doesnt like sun anyway, "i dont like the sun mom, its too hot!"
ReplyDeletewe played on the beach Sunday afternoon, all day Monday and Tuesday morning. It was so fun, we walked and picked up seashells. I tried to teach Grant everything i knew about barnacles and sand dunes, and thought of my Mom the whole time, how much she would have enjoyed it.
Next yeear i think we will make an effort to get daddy down there, and to stay longer, It was very good for a tired brain *lol* To just sit, and watch the waves, and hear the birds, and search for seashells. :)
A little sunburn is worth the price :)
